In the afternoon of June 13, 2023, the symposium on the coordination of specialized trials of Jiangsu foreign-related commercial maritime affairs was held in Nanjing, attended by leaders and department heads, including the Third Circuit Court of the Supreme Court, Jiangsu High Court, Nanjing Maritime Court, relevant international commercial courts of  Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Lianyungang Intermediate Court, Free Trade Zone Court, Nanjing University and other seven universities. Wuxi International Commercial Court was invited to attend the meeting, and signed the Proposal on “Serving High level Opening up and Creating a Preferred Place for Foreign related Commercial Maritime Dispute Resolution ”with Nanjing Maritime Court, Nanjing International Commercial Court, Suzhou International Commercial Court, Nanjing Jiangbei New District People's Court Free Trade Zone Tribunal, Suzhou Industrial Park People's Court Free Trade Zone Tribunal, and China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lianyungang District Tribunal.Joint Initiative: 1. Adhere to the principle of equal protection of the legitimate rights and interests of both Chinese and foreign parties. 2. Strive to provide convenient and efficient foreign-related commercial  maritime judicial services. 3. Actively promote the reform of the maritime trial mechanism for foreign-related commercial matters. 4.Improve the quality, efficiency, and judicial credibility of foreign-related commercial and maritime trials. 5. Build a high-quality team of foreign-related commercial and maritime trial talents. The signing of the proposal will help further leverage the advantages of Jiangsu's specialized trial court, polish the "3+3+1" collaborative brand, jointly create a market-oriented, legal, and international first-class business environment, and provide services to ensure that Jiangsu becomes the world's most attractive and competitive investment destination.
